New Project vs Subsale Property: Which One Is Right for You?
One of the most common questions I receive is:
"Should I buy a new project or a subsale property?"
My answer is always the same. There isn't a better property. There is only a property that's more suitable for you.
Choose a New Project if you...
✅ Prefer a brand-new home.
✅ Don't mind waiting for completion.
✅ Like modern layouts and facilities.
✅ Want developer incentives such as free legal fees or kitchen cabinets.
Choose a Subsale Property if you...
✅ Need to move in immediately.
✅ Prefer mature neighbourhoods.
✅ Want to inspect the actual house before buying.
✅ Appreciate larger land sizes and established surroundings.
My Advice
After helping buyers for more than 20 years, I've realised something.
Many people compare the house. Very few compare their lifestyle.
Before making a decision, ask yourself:
✔️ How long will I stay here?
✔️ Where do I work?
✔️ Is this for own stay or investment?
✔️ Will this property still suit me five years from now?
The best property isn't always the newest one.
✅It's the one that fits your goals.
